Dr. Daniel Dixon

Veterinarian & Owner

After graduating from the University of Edinburgh, Dr Dixon worked at Boat Club Road Animal Hospital where he worked closely with and was mentored by Dr Louisa. After 7 years with the practice, he decided to open NKAH close to home and fulfill his dream of helping educate pet owners and help them keep their pets happy and healthy!

Dr. Louisa Martin

Group Manager

Dr. Louisa has a real love for veterinary medicine and is very appreciative of the trust pet parents give us with the care of their precious pets. Her philosophy in practicing veterinary medicine is to work hand in hand with pet owners to provide the best, most complete care possible for their pets. In December of 2012, Dr. Louisa purchased Boat Club Road Animal Hospital and has since grown the practice to include Little Leaf Animal Hospital and helped to launch North Keller with Dr Dixon.

Des Whittall

Group Manager

Des’ job is often behind the scenes taking care of all the things that a business needs, from HR to purchasing. While he’s not directly involved in animal care, these things are also critical to doing business! He oversees the management teams to ensure that we can be successful in giving quality care and ensuring that each client and pet we come into contact with are treated as our own.

CVA, Lead Technician

Cielo has been working with Dr Dixon since 2020. She earned her Certified Vet Asst certification from Tarrant County College. Her passion for her job and animals comes from her grandfather who has always rescued dogs, cats, and birds and taught her about them growing up. She grew to love them so much and really enjoys seeing how our work with pets helps to educate families and make them feel good about the care their pet receives. Her hobbies outside of work consist of shopping & self-care. Nothing feel better than setting a day aside to relax and take care of yourself! She has 3 pups at home, Maoz, Taco & China.
